Free printable space activities for kids

This page collects all our space-themed printables in one place — word searches at three difficulty levels, five space colouring sheets, a crossword, a quiz, and a multi-activity pack. All are single-page letter-size PDFs.

Space word searches

The easy word search uses simple space vocabulary suitable for early readers aged 5–7. Medium and hard versions use a larger grid and less common space words, making them a better challenge for ages 7 and up. All three include a solution page.

Space colouring sheets

We have six space colouring sheets: a rocket, a planet with rings, an alien, an astronaut floating in space, a space scene, and a general space illustration. The rocket and planet suit younger children; the scene works well for older children who enjoy more intricate colouring. All are single-page letter-size PDFs.

Space crossword and quiz

The space crossword uses space vocabulary as answers with picture or description clues — good for ages 6 and up. The space quiz tests general space knowledge and works well as a classroom activity or family game. Both include answer pages.
